About the Company

Crafting with cork is a childhood memory for Natália and Vítor, the couple behind Corkor. Driven by their wish to create better vegan accessories, they decided to bring cork to the grown-up world with their direct-to-consumer brand.

Material

Material is made from cork obtained by removing the outer bark of the cork tree without harming the tree. The bark regrows and cork can be harvested again and again.

Technology

Cork is composed of dead cells that accumulate on the outer surface of the cork oak tree. Corkor uses this sustainable natural material, water-based inks, and water reutilization systems to minimize its environmental impact. By sourcing and manufacturing locally and designing for durability, Corkor further reduces carbon emissions.
