About the Company

After taking a course on biomimicry in 2016, Hannah Michaud was inspired to create a material using ingredients from food production waste. She met Mikael Eydt, CEO and Co-Founder in 2017 and the company changed its name from The Apple Girl to Beyond Leather Materials.
