MuSkin is a 100 % mushroom peel alternative to animal leather, made from fungi that grow on subtropical forest trees.

Technology

Muskin is made by slicing and pressing pieces of the Phellinus ellipsoideus mushroom. Although it can be attached to a backing, sealed, or dyed, the company normally sells pieces without any chemical processing.
