About the Company

Nicolas Bargi launched the Save The Duck brand in 2012 to offer products respectful of animals and the environment. The company created the feather-free filling PLUMTECH® in 2014 and has continued to innovate in this space. Their RECYCLED PLUMTECH®, made from recycled plastic bottles, was launched in 2018. Save the Duck obtained a B Corp certification in 2019.

Material

Recycled PLUMTECH® is a down alternative padding made from recycled PET plastic bottles.

Technology

Used PET plastic bottles are processed into very thin polyester filaments to imitate the structure of traditional down padding.
