About the Company
The Lenzing Group has headquarters in Lenzing, Austria, and production sites in all major markets. Lenzing has been producing wood-based cellulose fibers and yarns since 1892 and continues to innovate in this space. Lenzing’s lycocell technology is leading innovation in the production of cellulose fibers. Two of their brands - TENCEL™ and ECOVERO™ - are next-gen materials used in the textile industry - in clothing, home textiles, and technical textiles - as well as in the nonwovens industry.
Material
ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibers are produced using pulp derived from wood. Lenzing purchases wood and pulp from responsibly managed forests and is certified to come from sustainable sources.
Technology
The manufacturing of ECOVERO™ generates up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose. According to Higg MSI™ tools, CO2 emissions and fossil recourse use are approximately half that of the industry average.
Applications
Many applications in fashion and home goods.
Selected Brand Partnerships
J Crew, Monsoon, Armedangels, among many others.
