Francois is passionate about applying nano-and biomaterials to foster more sustainable and environmentally friendly technologies in diverse biosciences. Experiences in the laboratory and various bootstrapped technology start-ups – as a researcher, inventor, or co-founder – provided him with insights into addressing industrialization bottlenecks for biomaterials as tools for societal impact. Francois is currently working at Qorium in the exciting and emerging field of cellular agriculture, head-on facing the challenge of scalable biomaterials development to bring laboratory grown leather goods to the market.
